Rescue Dawn

While Coming back from breakfast ride . Near Deccan college, I saw Scorpio whipped past something. Me and another rider spotted Wild Owl lying on the road helplessly. It regained composure and flew to the nearest footpath. Road was almost deserted. It can barely flew. Right wing was badly damaged.

             We promptly called Animal Rescue center, Akshay arrived in 20 mins. And thanks to him we got hold of injured Owl, which was on the top floor. Desperately seeking seclusion. Akshay told us that, This is most wanted to those who does Black Magic. They are ready to fetch almost 50k for that.

He thanked us for calling so early before anyone got hold of it.

One NCP worker also helped me through the whole process. 

Motorcycle Diaries :Breakfast Ride

Finally, I am able to get my ass out of Pune city. Thanks to Vicky, we planned a Breakfast ride. I got up around 5 am. We left for Panshet for Sunrise.

My bull was in full flow. After some polishing , shining like a bulky fighter bull.

I love it. The speed , momentum , thumping n everything.

            We reached Khadakwasala. Clicked some pictures. Midway there was a nice spot. We decided to stop for sunrise there only. It was pristine and very beautiful.

Then we headed for Sinhgad fort, where we had breakfast.  The road was complete mess.

But we sailed.

PS: It was a nice experience. I need LED lights. 

Pitch It !!!

Those who have seen the last test between Aus and Ind , must have been relived those yesteryears memories of Indian spinners spinning web around batsmen. All the 20 wickets were taken by spinners only. In fact in the second inning Sharma bowled only 3 overs to 0 for Bhuvi.

            Lot of furore created by media in the last England series, where Dhoni insisted on Home Advantage to make spin friendly wickets. The move which backfired tremendously. India had to endure some heavy , morale drowning defeats.

            Along came Aussie, First test Chennai , Ball turning square from day 1 .

PS : When shane warne visited Chennai , and tormented by Sachin, he asked Curator, Whats wrong with my bowling? Curator said,” May be dodgy shoulder keeping you away from your best”. He later had operation on his shoulder. But the real trick was keep outside the leg stump area firm. Watered down, keep some grass. Genius….

रणरणत्या  उन्हात
अवचितशी वाटणारी पाणपोई
चुकल्यासारखी
कडेस न चुकता मी उभा तळपत ….

पाणी…  , थंडगार , निळेशार पाणी
तहान शमविणारे , की त्याचा भास निर्मिवणारे
कितेक पाणपोया टाळल्यात
उभा कोरडा मात्र  हिच्यापायी ….

ओंजळ ओंजळ पाणी देणारा
एका ओंजळीची वाट पाहणारा
पण तहान हासुद्धा एक भासच
वास्तविकता भासमान ….

ओंजळीतून ठिबकणारे पाणी
हळूहळू रिती होत जाणारी
थेंबाथेंबातून मातीत मिसळणारी अगतिकता
अन भासांची आभासी पटले न दिसणारी दृष्टीहीनता ……
